Ilta-sanomat, the most read daily news magazine in Finland, interviewed Coredo’s founder Joona Puhakka about the transformation that Coredo has gone through past two years.
Joona explains how Finnish economy saw a drastic drop after interested rose rapidly combined with Finland’s border country Russia starting a war against Ukraine. As a result of the war, Finland lost its big trade partner. That combined with unknown rapid increase in interest rates has seen Finnish companies to push breaks hard related it web development efforts. This market drop has been measured by Witted Megacorp that publishes quarterly software development data from Finland. That is showing, that there is now 90% less software development projects starting in Finland compare to January 2022. See the chart below. The article covers how Coredo has gone through rapid transformation leveraging more of its international delivery model and adapting to the rapidly changing market conditions.
